2020 Garden of Lights

FREE Park & Ride Shuttle to the Garden of Lights!

With the Pavilion Parking Lots overflowing with holiday events, we encourage Garden of Lights visitors to park in the two parking lots just west of

St. Mary's Church on Niagra Rd at VISTA Charter School & adjoining Montrose County lot.

The Montrose Botanical Society is excited to announce the 3rd annual Garden of Lights 2016, an illuminated community and family event for the holiday season. Thousands of children, families, and community members from across the region are being attracted to this unique Western Slope affordable celebration. This year’s light show has been extended to include a few days after Christmas as well.
The Montrose Botanic Gardens is committed to energy efficient illumination and environmentally friendly augmentation for all activities.  LED lights and solar power are used throughout the Gardens.
The Garden of Lights event is designed and created by volunteer community members and many high school students working side by side. The event is made possible due to several in kind participants as well as many sponsors and donations.
The beautifully lit garden displays, horse drawn wagon rides, storytellers, local musicians, refreshments, sound activated animated light shows, and Santa complete a memorable night at the gardens!
All aspects of this year’s Garden of Lights are looking brighter, including they addition of the amazing Community Tunnel of Lights.  The Garden of Lights 2016 Committee and volunteers are already planning and even decorating for this year’s event.
